What is YOTIMO?
YOTIMO is a handcrafted leather goods brand. We produce bags, belts, dog accessories, and other items from vegetable-tanned organic leather. Each product is lovingly handcrafted and stands for sustainable consumption, animal welfare, and timeless design.
What does the name YOTIMO mean?
The name YOTIMO represents our values: honest craftsmanship, a connection to nature, and appreciation for every single piece of leather. Behind the brand is founder Oguzhan Balci, who realizes his vision of sustainable leather goods in every product.
Where are your products manufactured?
All YOTIMO products are manufactured entirely in Germany. Our leather comes from the Renz tannery in Tuttlingen, a family-run business with over 100 years of tradition. The processing into finished products takes place in our workshop.
What makes YOTIMO special?
At YOTIMO, you don't just get a leather product, you get a whole story: humane animal husbandry, traditional pit tanning with vegetable substances, meticulous handcraftsmanship, and a Wabi-Sabi philosophy. We believe in durability instead of disposable products and in honesty instead of empty marketing words.
What does sustainable leather production mean to you?
For us, sustainability is more than just a word. It's evident in every step: in the humane treatment of our URIA cattle, in our vegetable tanning process without heavy metals, in our regional production in Germany, and in the longevity of our products. We create pieces that age with you, not pieces that become obsolete after just one season.
