FAQ
How do I care for my YOTIMO product?
Vegetable-tanned leather is easy to care for. Occasionally wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. If needed, you can use a high-quality, plant-based leather care oil or balm, such as beeswax or lanolin products. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and allow your product to air dry after getting wet, never on a radiator.
How long does organic leather last?
Vegetable-tanned organic leather can last for decades with proper care. It doesn't deteriorate with age, but rather improves. The surface develops a unique patina, the material becomes more supple, and it takes on your personal character. Many of our products become lifelong companions.
What is patina and how does it form?
Patina is the natural change to the leather surface caused by use, sunlight, and the oils from your hands. It manifests as a darkening hue, subtle sheen, and a softer feel. Patina makes every YOTIMO product a unique, personal piece that belongs only to you.
