For The Gymbag, we combine our high-quality organic leather with Halley Stevensons' iconic EverWax™ Olive fabric from Scotland. This fabric is made from tightly woven organic cotton and treated exclusively with all-natural, plant-based waxes and oils: a balanced blend of olive, rapeseed, and castor oils. All components are non-GMO, biodegradable, and derived from food industry byproducts.
The natural wax impregnation makes the fabric water-repellent and resistant to wind and light rain without compromising the breathability of the cotton. Over time, the surface develops a unique patina. If necessary, the fabric can be re-impregnated, which significantly extends its lifespan.
Combined with our leather, this creates a well-thought-out mix of materials that combines function, sustainability and timeless design, made for movement, everyday life and travel.
Care instructions: Moisture and dirt can easily penetrate the open pores of the leather. Stains or discoloration cannot be removed once they occur, therefore we recommend careful handling.
Note regarding the material: Initially, the bag will adapt to weather conditions and room temperature. With waxed fabrics, it is possible that natural waxes may become slightly visible on the surface. This is typical of the material, harmless, and will disappear with use.
